Messaging terms
Booking text messages
Businesses built on Bookfront send text messages about your appointment when you book online: a booking confirmation, a reminder the day before and the morning of your visit, and a confirmation if you reschedule or cancel. These are service messages about a visit you asked for — they are not marketing.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number when you book an appointment on a business's Bookfront website. A note at booking tells you that you will receive appointment text messages at that number, so giving your number to book is your consent. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency depends on your bookings — typically a confirmation and one or two reminders per appointment. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also contact us at hello@bookfront.ca or (877) 798-5566. After you reply STOP, you will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts unless you opt in again.
Your privacy
We do not sell your mobile number or share it for marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy and Terms for how we handle your information.
